Antonella Franceschelli M.D., Ph. D. graduated with honors in medicine and surgery from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome in October 2002, she is enrolled in the Order of Doctors and Surgeons of Rome with position 52473.
She graduated with honors in 2006 the training diploma in Aesthetic Medicine at the International School of Aesthetic Medicine of the International Fatebenefratelli Foundation in Rome and in 2007, again with honors, the specialization in Internal Medicine at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome.
In 2009, she was the only Italian at the first Summer School of the International Association for the Study of Obesity, she obtained the title of Member of the Specialist Certification of Obesity Professional Education in Cambridge (UK), an international qualification as an expert in the treatment of obese patients. She has always had a particular interest in the treatment of overweight and obese children and in 2014 she specialized in Food and Pediatric Nutrition in Florence.
In 2011 she obtained the title of PhD in Clinical and Preventive Nutrition at the Torvergata University of Rome.
Since 2007 she has been a teacher at the graduate school in aesthetic medicine of the International Society of Aesthetic Medicine in teaching “overweight and obesity”.
She currently teaches aesthetic medicine as a doctor tutor at the aesthetic medicine clinics of the Fatebenefratelli Isola Tiberina Hospital in Rome and coordinates one of the working groups of the same outpatient service.
During her professional training, she spent study stays abroad in France, Holland, Spain and the United Kingdom and collaborated for research purposes with the Enteral Nutrition service of the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome.
She is the author of nutrition articles published in indexed international journals and has participated in numerous national and international conferences in the role of speaker, moderator and learner. You also work as a consultant and trainer for other doctors for private companies in the aesthetic medicine sector.
